MoreCooler.com: It's more cooler with the thing

Ok, Martin talked to Walt today regarding the house and stuff. We've got a number of some carpet cleaners.. We're leaving the washer and dryer for the next tenants (OK'd by Walt.) And he's going to have someone clean up the backyard for $100 from our security deposit (Ok by me unless someone actually wants to do the cleaning? :)

Anyway, I'm moving everything of mine out on the 24th and it sounds like Martin is doing the same on the weekend following. We're going to be getting rid of the following this week and next: couch, loveseat, coffee table, my desk, bunk-beds, dresser and Martin's desk. If anyone wants these, have at them.

Walt's going to have people come in on the 1st if possible, so we obviously need everything out by then and have the carpet cleaning done by then too. I think we're going to have to have someone here when they do that.

Wow... I didn't realize you were getting rid of all that stuff. What coffee table? The one you were actually using as a coffee table downstairs? (I didn't know if there was another one burried in the garage somewhere...) If so, I'll take it (if you've got room to drop it by on one of your trips down South).

Matt, let me know the details on your move so Kim and I can come help you move in.

Yeah, forgot my details. Anyway, my apartment is available the 24th. So I'm probably renting a trailer here on the 23rd, packing it up, then driving down on the 24th so I get there early afternoon.

Brian, don't know about dropping stuff off-- I'm coming down with a trailer and I don't think I can get very close to your place with that (let alone the truck by itself ;) -- and the coffee table I'm talking about is the one in the living room the one I "refinished" with some contact paper to make it look ok.. not the best of shape by any means..

My Mom and brother are coming down on the 26th early in the morning, and we'll pack it up and move it back late that night. I think we're going to put a free ad in the paper for the furniture (as listed above plus my broken fold-out couch, which is a still fine couch but a shitty bed). If any of that stuff is still around and unwanted by the time I move out, I'll run it to goodwill that morning.

I am planning on comming down there this weekend the 19th and packing up all of my stuff to get it out of there. I will know then what stuff I am not going to take and we can add it to the free add in the paper. I'm probably getting rid of the recliner if anybody wants it.

But that recliner is in pristine condition! :)
