E-bayers?

I need to sell a few cars, and I'm thinking of putting them up on E-bay. Has anyone (read: Matt) sold or bought cars on E-bay before? Any tips?

No, but..

I sold tent-trailer on ebay and I'm currently shopping around eBay for a Miata. :) The big thing is your ebay feedback rating.. if its not very high, a lot of people won't even look at the listing.. And you need to offer to let people come by and look at it..

Hey Matt

My brother is selling a black '93 Del Sol for circa $4000. Also has a red '93 Supra that is the love of his life but for the right price... Interested?
BTW, craigslist.org is a great selling venue for Bay Areans.

Jua,

Naw, I'm looking forward to a Miata now :) kinda funny tho.. big truck and itty-bitty car. eh, go figure.

Martin,
what all are you selling anyway? And for the Jag, you might want to see if you can find a local club or something up there.. I'd imagine you could sell it pretty easily there without even going thru ebay..

Selling:

My camaro (got a new car - I'll post pictures soon)
My Dad's '90 GMC truck
My Dad's Jaguar XJ6

Local club? Y'mean, like a Jaguar user group? We've thought of asking a Jaguar dealer, but given that the car is in PRISTINE condition, I think I could get a fair amount for it if I sold it myself. Dunno if I'll use Ebay for it or not. Probably just go with the San Jose Mercury News and Craigslist.

Yeah,

A jaguar owner's club. I'm sure there's one up there.. I figure they would be a great resource of potential buyers (the people in those car clubs usually have more than one of whatever it is.. :)
