Stop the presses...

Whoops, one more bill. Sorry, guys, thought mine were all done, but the last power bill came today for $41.03. The @#$%#$%'in morons sent it to SLO, despite my request to send it to San Jose (after the forwarding delay, it's due TODAY and I got it TODAY).

Now, this is the first time I've actually used the board program, so please check my numbers. Although, logically, these make sense. There's some rounding errors because the prog only accepts five digits including the decimal.

c->m $479.80
c->w $921.00
c->s $101.90

Hope no one (er, I guess that would be Chris, actually ^_^ ) has written any checks yet.

On a happier note, just bought a new gamecube w/mario golf (very fun, LOTS of features), F-Zero GX (fun, but wish there was less racing and more blowing enemies up), and Soul Calibur 2 (link w/ the megaton hammer is DA BOMB). Good times for nintendo lovers.

PG&E

Yeah... PG&E had some issues getting me the last bill... now get this:

I had called to schedule the cancellation date, and in the process given them the new address. Strangely enough, they sent the second-to-last bill to that (my new SB apartment) address, so I'm thinking "Ok, they just updated their records for that account to have this be the billing address."

Well, apparently whoever designed their system needs to be shot, because the NEXT bill (the final one) gets sent BACK TO SLO!!! So... I learn this when I call them to find out why I hadn't gotten the last bill yet even though I'd seen it online for a while, they told me where it was sent, I give them my new address AGAIN, more time goes by, still no bill... Finally I call them ONCE again and they finally send out the bill to my new address... At least I knew it was only a few dollars since I had checked it online...

So, long story short, PG&E definitely has some billing issues...

Gamecube Died eh?

So your cube died? I never did finish Zelda, but I read the ending, which didn't seem so great.

Yeah

Yeah, the problems you saw in Zelda happened with any game in the system; would play from 2-10 minutes or so, then die. Out of warranty, so I just got another one, which wasn't so bad: Best Buy has a promotion where you get the system for the MSRP ($150), but you also get the game boy player (play gameboy advance games on TV using the cube), a $20 GC by mail (requires rebate form), and a demo disc (crappy, but they charge $40 in-store for it for some damn reason). Not to mention the $5 coupons they have in-store and the $5 you get for using your rewards card to buy $125.

And yeah, I was pretty disappointed with the ending for Zelda...

SPOILERS: DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ZELDA

You never fight Ganon. You fight a relatively cool fake-ganon-puppet, then you fight Ganondorf in a short but frustrating sequence (Zelda kept shooting me with my own @#$%@#$% bow). The semi-"second quest" is kind of cool, but not worth the time to play it all through again. Still, great game overall.

That reminds me, though; I never played through Metroid Prime for the good ending. I wanna see that.
