MoreCooler.com: It's more cooler with the thing

Hey everyone! I decided to take the plunge into MMORPGs with Star Wars Galaxies. So far, I'm having a blast. It's a little like Diablo meets the Sims: you can blow things up or sit around/party/converse/make stuff. Naturally you can go out and shoot at stormtroopers, and despite the movies, they are tough as nails! There's more to it than that, but so far so good. If anyone wants to or ends up playing, let me know! Later.

Has fun given way to rampant, uncontrollable addiction yet? ^_^

What char type you playing? Dark or light side (you can choose, right?)

I'm playing a Medic/Gunfighter. There is a faction system set up, so I joined the Rebels (vs. the Imperials).

The game is going well. There are 6 'starting' professions. I have 5 of them... only costs 100 credits (cheap) to pick up another starting profession, allows you to try them out. There is a limit to how much a character can 'know', but you can always 'give up' those professions to become more advanced in another.

And yes, addiction has started to set in. =).
