Matt! Show us a Pic of your new TV!
Chris tells me you got a big one. Care to put up a snapshot and tell me which one it is =).
Comments:
Hee.
It went something like this.
"C'mon, Matt! You know you want it!"
"But..."
"Awww, c'mon!"
"Alright, what the hell. ...shit!"
OK....
(whiniest voice) But I wanna see it!
.
Matt's MIA in... some distant state. ::mysterious::
We'll take a photo when we go check his mail, and post it for ya. Maybe we'll even ask him if that's okay. ;D
The plan...
Kim misunderstood. I said "Jeff wants to see a photo of Matt's TV. We should take it." She thought I meant "a photo". I meant "Matt's TV". So no, we won't ask him if it's okay. He'll be greedy and say no. "(selfish tone) It's MINE. I PAID for it." Psht. ;-)
I still want to see it!
Could someone at least tell me the make/model number? Thanks.
I have a photo
so Jeff, if you really want to see it, just show up for my birthday get-together this Friday.
*sigh*
50" Samsung DLP rear-projection widescreen HTDV:
That's Bryce playing Project Gotham Racing 2 on the XBOX in its HD widescreen goodness.
Thanks Matt!
Very nice. Thanks for showing me. How much was it? (You can just e-mail me if you don't want to say).
One million dollars
Hahahahaha
Bestbuy..
Best buy link$3999 retail.. mine was open box (guy returned it because his standard cable looked bad on it.. well, duh, standard cable blown to 50" is going to not look pretty..) so I had about $700 off.. then tack on the service plan and taxes (ick.)
Luckily, the only thing that ever needs replacing, ever, is the one bulb in the back for $200. No alignment needed, no burn in, excellent darks on the screen, nothing screwy going on.. only weird thing with DLP screens is that sometimes, if you move your head around erratically, you can see a rainbow in the corner of your eye if you are looking at a dark screen with a very bright white thing in the middle. Yep, that happens often.
The rainbow
It only happens when Matt makes you do it. "Move your head around erratically. You'll see a rainbow."
