The O'Franken Factor

Al Franken was on Letterman last night promoting his new radio show, which debuts on New York, LA, Chicago, and San Francisco on March 31, and will air M-F from noon to 3pm. He's calling it The O'Franken Factor. It was a really great interview, especially the discussion of O'Reilly refusing to call him "O'Franken" and O'Reilly declining Franken's invitation to appear of "The Factor" (Franken's theory was he was afraid to enter the Zero Spin Zone). All of this is part of his promotional strategy to get sued again.

The stations that Air America (the liberal talk network the show is part of) is taking over haven't updated their sites to reflect the format change, so I'm still looking for somewhere to listen to a live stream. For those in the bay area, it will be on there, but the station hasn't been announced yet.

Also, here's a feature from the NY Times about Franken.

Very cool

Too bad it's on during work hours. Either I have to miss it or set up a radio to catch it (perhaps it gets streamed?).

Streaming

According to what I've read, Air America plans to do live streaming as well as archives on their site. Also, they'll do some "Best of..." stuff on weekends.

Franken

He was on Conan last night; if you missed it, might be able to see it rerun today (does comedy central still do that?).
